More, from day one; that’s the motto of Indiana University, who strives to give you the best possible education you can starting the minute you enroll in one of their programs. Indiana State University has been named “one of the best colleges” by The Princeton Review. If you are looking for alternative opportunities to continue your education, then Indiana was designed for you! The college is an NLNAC (National League of Nursing) accredited college that requires absolutely no classroom attendance which will make your college experience all the more flexible around your busy schedule. Indiana State University’s “Blended Learning Format” allows online education paired with independent study which allows the student to perform work anywhere they want, 24/7.

Founded in 1865 as the Indiana State Normal School and located in Terra Haute, the college has been known as the Indiana State University since 1965. The college boats a catalog of over 100 majors, with the top undergraduate and graduate degrees focusing on their education and nursing programs, and is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. Nurses looking to continue their education to move up the nursing ladder can do so through Indiana State’s various programs such as LPN-to-BSN. The College of Nursing’s Baccalaureate Track for Licensed Practical Nurses offers the LPN not only a means to achieve their Bachelor’s in Nursing, but also eligibility to apply for their RN licensure. Obviously, students must already have a LPN or LVN certification to enroll in an Indian State LPN-to-BSN program.

Students enrolled in Indiana State’s Nursing school with a major in Nursing will combine theory and clinical nursing courses in addition to required General Education courses. RN certification in Indiana is offered to students who complete a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (RN certification varies for different states for those enrolling from another state). Furthermore, once students have achieved their BSN, they can continue their education in Indiana States’ Masters of Nursing Program, also available as an online curriculum.
